
According to the public relations and information of the Anthropological Encyclopedia Center and Ibn Sina Research Institute, Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Mahfouzi, on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of exquisite Quranic works and manuscripts, spoke about the activities of the Anthropological Encyclopedia Center and Ibn Sina Asl Research Institute and said: The museum of this center is the protection of the country’s spiritual honor and artistic writings.
The head of the Anthropological Encyclopedia Center continued: “In this collection, 100,000 manuscripts and stones, including a library of manuscripts, paintings, calligraphy (rings and seals), cultural and historical museum and paintings from different periods of Iranian and Islamic history, along with valuable copies of the Holy Quran.” Which is available for public viewing.
Regarding the way of supporting the works of the Anthropological Encyclopedia Center and Ibn Sina Research Institute, Mahfouzi stated: This center and institute are privately run without government support and part of its income is obtained through the publication of works and the board of directors of this center with Personal motivations work.
He added: “Restoration of manuscripts is another action of this center that is associated with many problems and also the maintenance of these works is a problem that requires research and correction, confrontation with other works, communication with good libraries in the world and using the views of experts.”
Regarding the Quranic and exquisite works of this center, he noted: The oldest Quranic work of this center is the Quran in the first Kufic script in 11 pages on deer skin, the Quran in the second Kufic script in 13 pages, the Quran in the third Kufic script in 18 pages and the Quran in the script The fourth kufi is a combination of skin and paper.
