The commemoration ceremony was held in the presence of the country’s managers, members of the Executive Board of ICOM Iran, artists, collectors and private museum owners at the Artists’ House, where the works of Dr. Mahfouzi’s museum were exhibited.
According to the ISNA news group, quoting the public relations of the Encyclopedia of Anthropology Center, in this ceremony, exquisite and valuable works such as Ferdowsi Shahnameh related to Safia Ali Shah Library with 98 miniature assemblies by Moin Al-Masour, another Shahnameh with 44 miniature assemblies by Lotf A spiritual Masnavi written by calligrapher Mirza Mohammad Ibrahim Qomi, another spiritual Masnavi written by calligrapher Shah Mahmoud Neyshabouri, another Masnavi written by Ustad Abolghasem from the descendants of Maulana Jalaluddin Balkhi, a book by Kharazmshahi Ganjavi’s military style was unveiled in the handwriting of Shah Mahmud Neyshabouri, a Divan of Hafez in the handwriting of the poet Vesal, Ibn Sina’s law book related to the Timurid period and a part of the Kufi Quran were unveiled.
This exquisite collection, along with 34,000 other manuscripts, is in the museum of Dr. Mahfouzi, and all the works unveiled in the hall of the artists’ house were exposed to the public and interested people.
